Wellspring offers a program of sound mental health counseling, psycho-educational workshops, and individualized care to victims of chronic psychological trauma as incurred in families, groups, or relationships. Ours is the world's only fully accredited residential facility specializing in treating victims of cultic abuse. (See the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities CARF)  Wellspring has treated more than 1000 clients who suffered from a wide variety of abusive situations including cult involvement, battering, professional abuse (therapists, clergy, teachers) and exploitative organizations and relationships.

We strive to achieve the following treatment goals:

• Enable the client to live without dependence on the group or relationship.
• Integrate the traumatic experience into the individual's life.
• Activate critical thinking skills.
• Assist the victim in ridding himself or herself from shame and self-blame associated with the experience.
• Reframe the abusive experience in terms of standard counseling principles in order to facilitate more meaningful counseling and therapy after discharge.
• Assist the client in the development of a plan for treatment and/or social reintegration after leaving Wellspring.
